Open the progression
In Compose, open the chord progression you want to play over — or right-click (Mac) / touch and hold (iPhone and iPad) any progression in the Compose list without opening it.
Open in app
ComposeSend it to Play
Tap the Play button in the progression editor's header (next to Practice), or choose Send to Play from the editor's ••• menu. From the Compose list, Send to Play sits in the same right-click / touch-and-hold menu as Send to Practice.
It lands in the chord strip
Tiny Instrument switches to Play and loads your progression into the chord strip, set to Progression so it shows your exact chords in order rather than the key's diatonic set. The first chord is selected and ready.
Open in app
Play modeJam and auto-advance
Play over the progression however you like. Turn on auto-advance and the strip steps to the next chord in time, or advance as you play so it moves on once you've played the current chord. Tap any chord in the strip to jump straight to it.
Practice in the app
