Tiny Instrument · MIDI
Bring your own gear.
Plug any MIDI keyboard or controller into Tiny Instrument and play with real keys across every mode. The app recognises popular controllers, reads your knobs and pads by name instead of "CC 64", and sets up your transport buttons for you.
Get Tiny Instrument freePlays everywhere
Real keys, in every mode.
Connect over USB or Bluetooth and your controller drives the whole app: Learn lessons, Listen ear-training, Practice drills, the Play sandbox, and Compose. Every key you press registers exactly like the on-screen keyboard, so you can learn on the instrument you actually want to play.
Readable names
Sustain Pedal, not "CC 64".
Mapped and incoming control-change messages show meaningful names. Standard controls read as Sustain Pedal, Mod Wheel, Expression, and Cutoff, and a recognised controller's own buttons and knobs use its real labels. The Keyboard Controls settings name every control, so you always know what you're mapping.

On the way
Next for MIDI: assignable knob and pad bindings, so a controller can drive live parameters like tempo, practice speed, and transpose, plus hands-free lesson navigation with a pedal.
